Who We Are
Central Paving, LLC was founded in 2009 by the Greear family of Ellensburg, WA. We operate throughout Central and Western Washington. Our services include asphalt paving, asphalt repair, sealcoating, pavement marking, crack sealing, and grading to residential, commercial, industrial, and public customers. We employ 65 team members and perform approximately $17 million in revenue annually. Central Paving is currently experiencing rapid growth (average 54% per year for the last 5 years) and is looking for quality people to join our team.

Position Responsibilities
We are seeking applicants who are looking for a rewarding and satisfying position in the asphalt paving and maintenance industry. For some positions, you do NOT need to have experience or knowledge of the industry. We encourage college students to apply as this some positions are a rewarding summer job both financially and gained experience for any career you plan to pursue.

General Requirements
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Proficiency in English
Cell phone
Ability & willingness to travel on occasion (fully compensated both ways)
Ability to lift a minimum of 100 lbs
Self motivated and punctual
Focus on safety and quality
A CDL is not required, but a definite plus

Field Positions:

  • Crew Member (Asphalt/Sealcoat/Prep) – $18-$24/hour + Prevailing Wages ($45-$80/HR)
  • CDL Truck Driver – $20-$25/hour + prevailing wages ($45-$70/HR)
  • Operator (Paver, Screed, Roller, Skid Steer, Backhoe, Excavator, Grader, Etc) – $20-$32/hour + Prevailing Wages ($45-$80/HR)
  • Crew Lead (Sealcoat/Pavement Marking) – $24-$28/hour + Prevailing Wages ($45-$80/HR)
  • Crew Lead (Asphalt) – $30-$38/hour + Prevailing Wages ($45-$80/HR)
  • Crew Lead (Prep) – $30-38/hour + Prevailing Wages ($45-$80/HR)

*Field positions average 50%-60% prevailing wage hours. Reasonable annual earnings for field positions are $60,000 – $100,000 in an 8-9 month work season.
